The Rona Serozan Foundation for Comparative Legal Research was established to conduct legal research at the national and international (comparative) levels; to encourage, support, and further develop such research; to contribute to the establishment of a legal order consistent with the principles of a modern, democratic, and social state governed by the rule of law; and to assist in harmonizing the country’s legal system with that of the European Union—particularly with a view to keeping pace with the Union’s legal developments.
